Tadpoles (pre-School)

Tadpoles PreSchool

Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and relaxed atmosphere where your child can develop through play, friendship and fun, the skills needed for school and later life.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which continues until the end of the Foundation Year – generally the first year of school. Within this, there are seven areas of learning – three prime areas and four specific areas. The prime areas are Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED), Communication and Language (C&L) and Physical Development (PD). The specific areas are Literacy (L), Mathematics (M), Understanding the World (UW) and Expressive Arts and Design (EA & D). Each area has a pathway for the children to follow.
