We are excited to have been part of the ‘Start Small, Dream Big’ learning programme which supports children’s personal development by introducing them to a range of different careers at a young age. This Dorset Careers Hub supported programme, endorsed by the Department for Education, helps to inspire children at a young age with opportunities to learn about and meet people from right across the world of work. We completed this programme in July 2024.

The aims of the scheme are to:

• broaden pupils’ horizons
• inspire students about the world of work
• challenge stereotypes
• link learning to future jobs and careers
